Ramadan 2011: Ramadan Kareem/ Ramadam Mubarak/ Ramadan Dates 2011 is set to sweep through Southeast Asia on August 1st. A spiritual environment has started in the minds, streets and houses. Ramadan is an auspicious opportunity for believers to renew their commitment to their Creator and the Sovereign of the Day of Recompense.

During the month of Ramadan Muslims are fasting during the day between dawn to sunset. Muslims believe that the Qur’an was sent down to the lowest heaven during this month thus being prepared for gradual revelation by angel Gibril (Gabriel) to The Prophet Muhammad (Peace And Blessings Be Upon HIM).
There also are toys for the children, and nuts, dates and other treats.

Dua’s (Prayers):
Fast Beginning or SEHER Dua:
Wa bisawmi ghadinn nawaiytu min shahri Ramadan.
Fast Finish or IFTAAR Dua:
Allahumma inni laka sumtu wa bika aamantu [wa 'alayka tawakkaltu] wa ‘ala rizq-ika aftarthu
