The last season of Glee was very frustrating for the New Directions because they were eliminated even just on the Regionals and they were not able to step on Nationals to compete with their arch rival, the Vocal Adrenaline. They believe that they are all losers who just sing for nothing because they lost at Regionals. But on the second season of Glee, they must really prove to the entire McKinley High that they are the best glee club who can win over Vocal Adrenaline during the Nationals. Their goal is set for the Regionals and no one can stop them, not even the ruthless coach Sue Sylvester.

To prove their determination and willpower, they really worked hard during the Regionals and it all paid off when they were declared champion, and it is all because of singing and performing their originally written and composed songs.
