The story started on the tragic death of King Uther Pendragon, wherein he was killed by her own daughter, Morgan, after she learned that he cheated her mother and that she was not even loved by her own father. With this, the young sorcerer Merlin, Uther’s most trusted adviser, needs to find the young man named Arthur, Uther’s long lot son. At first, Arthur, having no finite direction in life, cannot believe when Merlin told him that he was of royal blood and is the new king. In order to find out answers about his past, Arthur agreed to go with Merlin and takes the challenge of becoming the new king of Camelot. So previously, if you have missed the last episode, Merlin went out on a quest for the sword Excalibur, which will only be draw by the rightful king for Arthur, by trying to track down a legendary arsenal; plus Arthur underwent a dramatic change after a chat with Guinevere which resulted in him becoming more assertive, especially in his business with Leontes.

The Lady of the Lake is the mysterious woman who gave Arthur his sword, Excalibur. She’s also the one who stole Lancelot when he was a child and cured him when he went mad. She is called Vivien buy may have referred also as Nineve, Nimue, Niniane, etc.
